Memorial Tree Lighting 2008 |

For many, Christmas is a time of family celebration. However, it is also a time to cherish the memories of a loved one who has passed away.
To help families accomplish this, we at Trinity United held a Holiday tribute.
The first annual Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was held at Trinity United Church, Hartland, on December 7th following the annual Carol Sing.
The Reverend SungMin Jung presided over a short form of service, which we very much hope will become an annual event. During this special ceremony stars, bearing the names of the individuals being remembered, were hung on the tree as the names were read aloud. At the conclusion of the reading of the names, the tree was further illuminated by turning on a series of blue lights to further honour those being remembered.
